What's the difference between .co.uk domains and .com domains?
Can I have a .com or .net or .org domain name instead of a .co.uk?
Problem:
Membership of The Artists Web includes a free .co.uk domain name,
however you can still have a .com .net or .org domain name, it
just costs an extra 10GBP per year.
Solution:
.co.uk domains indicate that the website is from England, where
as a .com domain is essentially international.
We charge a surcharge of 10GBP per year as .com domains are more
expensive for us to register.
