Boundless – Connecting Artists

May 8th, 2008 by admin

Bankside Gallery, London 21st July to 27th July 2008

Here’s an event coming up in London calling for submissions - that means you!

Boundless – Connecting Artists is a unique exhibition bringing together learning disabled
and mainstream artists. It will show an eclectic range of work in a central London gallery,
much of it by artists who have led lives far removed from the mainstream of society. Boundless
makes a statement that all of us, disabled or not, have the right to make and enjoy art,
and that this right, which is integral to our humanity, connects us, one to another.
Learning disabled artists across the country are being invited to submit 2D work (painting,
photography, screen prints etc) for consideration. All submissions will be judged on merit
by a small panel of professional artists and art teachers.

The deadline for submitting work is Friday 30th May.

For information about the submissions process please contact Mark Brend –

Boundless is being supported by four leading learning disability agencies: Choice Support,
United Response, Regard Partnership and Skillnet.
