MOBILE BALLROOM is part of GOLDEN (LESSONS), a research residency by susan pui san lok at Beaconsfield, London, punctuated by a series of live events and performance interventions. GOLDEN (LESSONS) takes up and explores motifs of ballroom and song as vehicles of nostalgia, aspiration and cultivation, continuing an ongoing series of works under the rubric GOLDEN. GOLDEN (LESSONS) concludes on Friday 10 November with MOBILE BALLROOM, BALLROOM LESSON, an E-BOOK LAUNCH, and GOLDEN HOUR, a new audio work to be broadcast on Resonance 104.4FM.
