Artsphere’s First Birthday Party: Believe it or not, March 2007 will see our first Birthday on the UK’s Online Arts Scene! And to mark it, we are planning several fantastic events which will be a blatant plug of our Directory Members. We?ll be holding competitions to allow some of our lucky Members to showcase and promote their work, whilst others will have the opportunity to advertise to a captive audience, and everyone will be given the chance to network like mad! Even More Feature Article Success: So Emily-Kriste was the first subject of our Directory Member feature articles - the one who said: ‘Thanks for the article! Looking at the figures, it boosted the number of enquiries and visitors to my site!’ - but October Feature Artist, writer Clare Hill, has just confirmed boosted hits and recognition at an Event she advertised with Artsphere. She says: ‘I’ve had increased traffic to my sites, 200ish visitors, plus I went to Roz Goddard’s book launch as part of the Birmingham Book Festival, and a woman who was there looked at me and said ‘You performed at Raw Edge!’ Not exactly fame, but it left me with a glow, nonetheless.’
