Come and learn new skills and have fun in a supportive environment! What is it?
DanceAbility is the study of movement improvisation. Workshops and performances hhve been held around the world, for both children and adults, supporting or helping establish many dance groups.
Dancers of all levels from absolute beginners to professionals learn to recognise and follow their own desires in moving and relating, rather than following prescribed movements. ALL BODIES HAVE BOTH ABILITIES AND LIMITATIONS BUT NEITHER DEFINES A PERSON’S POTENTIAL FOR DANCING.
The intention of DanceAbility is to work with all people in the study of dance and movement improvisation and to bring more diversity, equality and self-empowerment into contemporary dance. Where is it? The Unitarian Chapel Brunswick Square Bristol BS2 8PE
