THE DUALERS
Raised on authentic Ska and bluebeat by their father, brothers Si and Tyber have been busking there unique blend of Ska, Reggae and Soul on the streets of South East England for the past 8 years. Raising the funds themselves and with the support of their loyal fans from the streets they release debut single Kiss On The Lips in Oct 2004, without any record label, any management, any promoter, any distributor or any air play they managed to break the offcial UK Charts, with a debut postion of 21. Following their success they put together a 6 piece band to perform at live shows accross the south east throughout 2005. Highlights included 2 sell out shows at Fairfield Halls in Croydon,an incredibly well recieved performance at The Cornbury Festival and three nights supporting Ska legends The Skatalites. In November of 2005 The Dualers released their second single Truly, Madly, Deeply which also featured Travelling, although this time they had some financial backing from an independant record company they were still esssentially on their own. The single entered the charts at number 23. They a new released a new single in Don’t Go on June 12th 2006 and a new album The Melting Pot later that same month.
