Using Rudolf Steiner’s speech exercises, this course is ideal for teachers, performers and anyone who would like to extend their vocal articulation, projection and range. During the course we will explore the range of expression available simply through detailed exploration of vowel and consonant, working with drama, poetry and prose, and concluding with a presentation.
Daniel Skinner trained in Rudolf Steiner’s ‘Sprachgestaltung’ (Speech Formation) at the London School of Speech and Drama. He was co-founder, performer and director of The Rose Theatre Company, and has worked with voice/theatre directors such as Enrique Pardo (Roy Hart, Pantheatre), and Erik Norlin (Slava Theatre, Sweden). He is now developing an environmental arts strategy on a woodland site in Kent under the title ‘The Last Resort.’
